Windpark Oostflakkee was initiated more than 10 years ago by a group of local entrepreneurs (including land owners and farmers) on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee in the Netherlands.
They were supported by Renewable Energy Factory, a Dutch project developer, and Enercon, a leading wind turbine manufacturer.
The ready-to-build project was acquired by Kallista Energy in 2019 and is the company’s first project in the Netherlands.
